Members of the Idaho Community Action Network (ICAN) turned out to the Statehouse on Thursday, March 23 to testify in support of a proposal to raise Idaho’s minimum wage by $1 and index it to inflation. Despite strong testimony in support of the proposal, the House State Affairs Committee voted 12-5 to kill the bill. The minimum wage in Idaho has not been increased for more than ten years.
